Rumeet Toor is an entrepreneur, graduate student, and an advocate for enabling education. She is the President of Jobs in Education, and is currently completing her M.Ed. in Higher Education and Leadership at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education - University of Toronto. Over the past three years, Rumeet has contributed to building primary schools in Africa and South America. In 2009, she led a uniform initiative that enabled 53 orphans access to primary education. For 2010, her focus is on the creation, development, and implementation of a teachers college in the Mbooni Region of Kenya. She is also an official ambassador for the 1GOAL: Education for All campaign with 2010 FIFA World Cup (www.join1goal.org). Rumeet continues to focus on integrating her business and graduate studies with her passion for creating change through education.
